GreenSea Ice Melt — Liquid Ice Melt & Dust Control

GreenSea Ice Melt is the economical way to stay ahead of winter storms to ensure safe transit of pedestrian and vehicle traffic. When used as a pre‑treatment, GreenSea Ice Melt will prevent the bonding of snow and ice to pavement and other surfaces which will make mechanical clearing much more efficient. With efficacy down to ‑60ºF, GreenSea Ice Melt is also extremely effective at melting already present snow and ice on a multitude of surfaces.

This product may also be used in warmer weather to help control dust on gravel roads. By absorbing moisture from the air, it helps to keep dust down.

Winter Directions

Use as a pre‑treatment to prevent bonding of snow and ice to pavement.

Effective down to ‑60ºF for melting existing snow and ice.

Summer Directions

Use 0.25 – 0.45 gallons per square yard to suppress dust on gravel and dirt roads.

Draws moisture from the air to keep surfaces damp and compact.

Penetrates road base to improve stability and reduce frost‑heave damage in winter.

Usage & Application Rates

1) ACCELERATOR — Improves performance and longevity of rock salt and sand.
Apply 0.5 gallons / 1000 sq. ft. (adjust as needed).

2) ANTI‑ICER / PRE‑WETTER — Spray before precipitation begins.
Apply 0.5 gallons / 1000 sq. ft. (adjust as needed).

3) DEICER — Apply on top of snow and ice.
Score glazed ice if needed for penetration.
Near 32ºF on thin ice: 1.0 – 2.0 gallons / 1000 sq. ft.
Below 10ºF: 3.0 – 6.0 gallons / 1000 sq. ft.
