Egress Tape Glow In The Dark
Egress Tape Glow In The Dark
HESKINS EGRESS TAPE GLOW IN THE DRAK
Heskins® glow in dark egress tape is produced in plain or chevron hazard format. During the daylight or lights scenario, glow-in-the-dark marking tape is a mild green color; it immediately releases a highly noticeable bright glow in a lights-out situation. The light emitted is stored as energy when the tape is exposed to a light source; this can be natural or artificial lighting.
Benefits
Our glow-in-the-dark egress marking tapes do not use radioactive materials or components that breach state, federal, or international standards. The photoluminescent powders are impregnated into the upper surface; these powders have an indefinite lifespan and can be recharged over and over for the duration of the tape's lifespan.
Underneath the top film, we apply a permanent self-adhesive with a heavy coat weight. The adhesive is exposed by removing the protective backing paper and then simply sticking it down onto any surface that is clean, dry, and free from any grease. We recommend using our surface primer before applying it to porous surfaces (wood, concrete, stone, etc.).
Application
With this being a smooth tape, its primary use is for marking many areas as a hazard marking tape.
Doorways
Marking doorways, particularly door frames, allows exit and entry points to be found in low light or lights-out situations. Glow-in-the-dark marking tape can be applied in seconds and is ready immediately.
Low Edges
Applying glow-in-the-dark hazard marking tape to low edges can prevent head injuries in low- to no-light situations. This is a very efficient use, as only a tiny amount of tape is required to mark the area as hazardous.
Stairways
Ensuring stairways and their steps are completely visible is not always easy, but by using glow-in-the-dark hazard marking tape, you can highlight the stairway and every step to ensure no missteps.
Light Switches
Finding light switches in the dark can be very troublesome for many. Applying glow-in-the-dark marking tape on or around light switches removes the difficulty of finding light switches in a dark room.
