Cushion grip tape is produced using PU (Polyurethane). Polyurethane is a strong polymer which is used in a number of applications due to its hardwearing and flexible nature. One of the many benefits of PU is that it provides high levels of cushioning; this is created during the manufacturing process and makes cushion grip the strong anti-slip material it has come to be known as. When PU is produced, it can be ‘foamed’; this then provides a strong cushioning effect that cannot be experienced with other plastics, making the construction of this material different from other plastics we utilize. 

Production lines

The unique properties of this product essentially make it a cushion grip tape with a cushioning effect. This allows for use on production lines where people can be stood for longer than normal periods of time while also preventing potential slips. Applying a cushion grip in long sheets on a surface will ensure the maximum cushion effect.
